It was on my to-do list! I swear!

Almost a year later... It's a little hard to recap the last year in one little posting. So weird. I blinked and a year has passed by. Just like that. I hardly have any pictures to document it. My computer keeps eating the ones I upload and stores them away in a place where this bloggy blog cant seem to find when I attempt to do a search. You'll be happy to know that I took all of your suggestions and indeed have a shrine of Matt and I in our front room. Thankyouverymuch for that. Since then, Christmas came and went, good presents, Valentines Day, Matts Birthday, our Miami trip (documented below), the Anniversary Sale at Nordstrom that I am obsessed with, our Anniversary (documented), had our back yard done, and Matt did a fitness competition. Here goes a snippet.. Did you know there is a 45 min. cut off before which you have to check in or you will miss your flight? Crazy right? We found out the hard way. 6 am flight = bad idea. We arrived at the airport at 5:10ish...and by the time we checked in, we were told by the automated system "You have been re-routed. You have missed your flight. Please see the desk to your left." Awesome. I, being the giddy self that I am sometimes at 6 am kept telling Matt it would be alright and that the friendly man at the counter would help us. El - wrongo! Not friendly and could really give a ...you know what. I have never seen my husbands blood boil but I got a glimpse that morning. Long story short, we were due to arrive in Miami at 1pm, but after our super heated little debate during which I'm surprised the man lived (I thought Matt was going to kill him with his bare hands), we sat at the airport for 3 hours, flew to Dallas, sat there for 2 hours, flew to Miami and arrived at....7pm. Boo.

The Fontainebleau was amazing!

I dont really know why this picture popped up here but this picture and the one below
were taken here in Vegas when my parents came down from Utah to visit.

Back to Miami... Ah-Ma-Zing

REMEMBER- cut off time for flights is 45 mins!!!

The view from our suite at the Fontainebleau

We reserved one whole day for laying out. Ordered virgin Pina Colatas - were brought some that weren't and after Matt thoroughly inspecting it, sending it back! We also rented some jet skiis and had our way with the water

This is our Newport Beach trip for our 5 year Anniversary! Loved it! Our little tradition of Newport to celebrate our Anniversary - love it. Here we are ready for Mortons!

It's Kind of a Blur..

In a nutshell, over the last couple of weeks (or months..its kind of a blur) we have...
settled more into our home, finally bought the shelves at Pottery Barn that I have been wanting, scratched up our wall trying to put them on, swore..a little in the process, woved to never buy them again, took them back because they were defective, ordered three more because they didnt have them instock (I love them despite the two hour ordeal that I chose to erase from my memory), installed them, love them, worked, passed the Anniversary Sale along with the Half Yearly Sale, limped around because Matt sprained his ankle playing football, watched the bruise on the inside and outside of his foot go from blue to black to purple, drove to Utah (Provo) and back in 24 hours for my besties baby blessing(love her), got sick, and cant breathe...and last but not least...we are not pregnant. But we are getting our pictures done this weekend and I am so excited!!

Open This

I've been reading this lately..and I dont even like tennis. However, this book is really..really..good. It takes you not just on the journey of Andre Agassi but it takes you into his life and you feel as though you are right there with him going through every moment. It makes you almost hold your breath at times and smile at others. It indeed will open our eyes. plus... what else was I supposed to read after I just finished the last Shopaholic book(Mini Shopaholic)?? Andre was just starring at me and I couldn't pass this up.

Matt and I just celebrated our four year Anniversary. crazy. I know. F-O-U-R years! It was bliss though. Pure bliss I tell ya! We headed for California for four days (get it? four) and it was pretty much amazing. I used to love Vegas but after our little get away, I hate it. I want to move to California permanently and never go anywhere else. Mark my words, we are going to own a home in Newport Beach one day. That day cant come soon enough!

Right after we checked in, we headed for the beach!

This little park in Newport had a swing set and I couldn't resist. I love to swing!

Matthew doing some pull ups.
Our original plan was to go to Geisha House on the night of our Anniversary but we realized it was an hour and a half away so we quickly eliminated that idea. Mortons was only 5 mins away so off we went!

We headed to Huntington the new morning..

And we didn't even realize it was the US open!

Matt wanted his toes to be flailing in the picture.

A little on the powdery side babe..
He lost his glasses in the water so I let him borrow mine for a sec.

This guy was hilarious. I regret not getting a frontal shot

Fashion Island

Our attempts at jumping pictures

Kaisen Sushi!! So good! I have totally missed this place

Heading to South Coast plaza and then dinner!

We love a little place called Rockin Baja and Lobster on Newport Pier. It is always packed. It offers some of the best seafood. We had a 45 min wait so we grabbed some ice cream and walked up the pier.

I am so in love with this guy.

Seafood Bucked thats to die for!

Of course, Pinkberry

My boots hurt my feet

Our last day...we were so sad!

We rented some bikes and rode around Newport as we picked out beach homes..

Smashball is seriously the funnest game to ever play at the beach. Next time you go, buy it! The best $9 you will ever spend!

We had a blast!
