Just Shoot Me

I have totally had my eye on these sweet little Miss Sixty sandals for a couple of days. I finally went downstairs today to buy them and I am heartbroken. It totally felt like my little toe was being amputated. I am so sad. Why cant I get over it already?? Uuuuggghhhhh I totally made plans for them and everything. They were going to join the family and let me just tell you..they would have been the perfect fit. Once again..uuggghhhhh

I am obsessed. Really. I am. I just watched "Julie and Julia" and I'm telling you, I want to bone a duck. Weird right? But I do. I want to bone a duck. I want to cook a lobster (after i kill it.) Strange but true. And I'm going to do it. One day...one day soon. When we are in our new house (secret's out) April 5th is our closing date. We seriously couldn't be more excited!! Back to "Julie and Julia" though.. I wasn't so much intrigued by her life as I was by the cooking. I want to buy "Mastering the Art of French Cooking" and follow each recipe. Well maybe not EACH recipe because I am quite selective and lets just be honest here for a moment..Matt isn't going to eat liver. But in the meantime, I fantasize about cooking every recipe in the comfort of our new home which we will ever so soon be in!

On side note...Matt watched 10 mins of the movie and though it was a complete waste of time.

On a different side note.. it's 7 pm and its light outside. Loveeee it!

Cha-Cha-Cha-Changes

Big things are happening! Exciting news!!...that Mr. Wonderly wont let me share. He doesn't like to be telling the world everything before we are 100 percent sure about everything. For those of you thinking its a baby, check that off your list. Not yet. Not quite yet. Blah. We are so boring huh? Other than the big news... I've got nothing. Nothing at all. I love being back to Nordstrom! I really really do. Matt is studying and is so excited to be starting for Distinctive Insurance on the 1st. In between all the chaos, below is our pathetic attemp at capturing date night. I will try to at least get the eyeballs in the next picture.I love him! Cant wait to share all of our big changes!!

An Itty Bitty Update

What? A post? Crazy right..? But really I couldn't go another couple of weeks without updating this old bloggy here. It has been eating away at me ever so slowly. I would think about it at work, at church, etc. Finally, this morning, I had no excuse so here I am, all of me...in my Lulu Lemon workout wear and all, back from my Pilates class posed with my hot little fingers above the keyboard ready to type away.

Matt and I are still going back and forth between renting and buying. Each one has its perks and we just cant decide. Plus, there are so many other factors that are playing a key role in our decision making process but I wont waste our time. All in all, I just want a house. End of story.

I have been thinking a lot about pregnancy lately. Part of it is my bestie who is currently pregnant, part of it is because its in my near future but I just cant make up my mind these days about anything it seems like! Do I get pregnant in the Spring? Summer? Fall? Why is this so hard? I feel like I need to plan because we are just not getting pregnant using prevention and it just seems like that would be the best way to get pregnant because you dont have to plan for it. Do I get pregnant in the Spring and not be able to wear my bikinis and tan? Matt thinks this is ridiculous and that I'm thinking about it way too much but I feel like this is a big deal! I guess I just like to plan. Or do we wait for the summer time? But thats just too far away... Ugh! See what I mean? Decisions, decisions.

Back by popular demand - Thing 1 and Thing 2. Thing 1 got stuck under the entertainment center, a couple of nights ago, after she thrusted her chubby body underneath insearch of a little pebble of food (as if we dont feed her enough.) After snatching it up, Thing 1 attempted to wiggle her way from underneath the entertainment center, but was only able to get her head out. The body..stuck. The pebble popped out of her mouth and landed about a foot in front of her. Thing 2, seeing a pebble, got excited, jumped up, ran to the pebble that belonged to Thing 1, and ate it.

Thing 1, in response, shoved her head back underneath the entertainment center along with the rest of her body and pouted until we decided to release her by lifting up the entertainment center. Thing 2 was just happy about his lucky "find" and had no idea why Thing 1 was a bit p-oed. He is a thinker that Rockie dog.

27. I have a love/hate relationship being back in Vegas. I love it! Then I hate it.

25. We dont have to use the GPS when driving around! Its kind of nice for a change. You actually get to sit in silence (if you so choose) without having to listen to the GPS saying..recalculating.... ..recalculating or "when possible...make a U-turn." Seriously...so annoying.

24. I didn't return a single thing I got for Christmas.

23. Neither did Matt. Perhaps it's because we picked most of our own gifts? Haha!

22. I will never stop shopping at Nordstrom.

20. Went on a date night last night to In'N'Out and then saw Blindside.

8. I talked to the cutest little four year old boy today at Church who told me what he got for Christmas. In the same sentence he mentioned that he got a train with a bridge, toys, and that he was four years old. I now want a little boy more than ever.

7. I have no doubt that we are going to find the perfect home in Mountains Edge.

6. This is a fact...Rockie, our male chihuahua, is a thinker. No matter what Matt says, Rockie is not slow.

5. Love the name Lucy. We are naming our first daughter that. Lucy Kate. I want to call her "Elle" for short.

4. Talked to my grandma who lives in Ukraine. I realized I must have sounded "retarded" for lack of a better term since I could only utter "Very Good" and "I love you very much" in between which my mom had to translate everything else.

3. I was whitening my teeth the other day and felt a burning sensation. I removed the tray and revealed my newly-dyed white gums. Within five minutes, they were back to normal and I layed off the bleaching kit for a couple of days.

2.5 I currently have the bleaching trays in my mouth.

2. I cant wait until I have spare time to Volunteer at Ronald McDonald again.

1. I have been planning. Planning for our future house. Planning for our future family. Planning for the future....only to realize that I need to stop planning so much and learn to live in "day-tight compartments."

Going back to post 20... Have you guys seen Blindside? I dont think I have ever been more inspired in a movie. I was moved. I left the movie theater feeling like a different person. I want to be Sandra Bullock in the movie. I want to be able to do what she did for Michael. Sandra Bullock was outstanding. SJ was the funniest little kid. I want one just like him. Blindside is a movie we are adding to our collection without a doubt. I feel as though it has changed my whole outlook on life.

Hola! So I thought I would post this tid bit of news.... We're back! We are back to Vegas PERMANENTLY! Yes, permantently! Buying our house in Mountains Edge, back to work at Nordstrom for a bit (in Savvy), will start trying for kids in a couple of months! Life.. is good!! More to come soon!

Not Counting Sheep

Its 12:17 am and I am blog stalking. Why? Because its like one of my favorite past times. I'm obsessed. I go from one blog to another and on to another, etc. I just click on the names of couples that look good and go on from there. It's kind of like a triathlon. You never know where you will get to although you start and lets face it, you never planned on finishing in the first place. Sometimes you even surprise yourself because through the tangled web of couples, babies, families, dogs...you might actually find someone 10 people down the line that you know! Tada!! Although perhaps I need to calm down my obsession because there is a certain couple whose blog I frequently check because they are so dang cute and I just cant help it!! Anyway...when I was working at the Nordstrom in Provo.. they actually came into my department. I got kind of excited and almost started waving at them as they look over at me. Yes, almost. Therefore.. I have come to the conclusion that I am stopping. (maybe)
